Our offer

Mission

Drive the development of sales and after-sales operations for the Mecalac product portfolio (Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Dumpers) in Germany and Austria, with a strong emphasis on Mecalac's unique and premium solutions: multifunction wheeled excavators, swing loaders, and Revotrucks.

Close coordination with colleagues in the FAYAT Road Equipment Division to manage Key Accounts.

This position reports to the Chief Sales and Service Officer of the Mecalac Group.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead and expand Mecalac's presence in Germany (with focus on the Berlin and Leipzig regions) and Austria.
  • Promote Mecalac's philosophy of multifunctional machines capable of replacing multiple traditional machines on urban job sites.
  • Identify and integrate potential new dealers into the distribution network.
  • Oversee the management of a dedicated service center serving the Bundeswehr.
  • Monitor and support the improvement of the global Mecalac dealer network.

After-Sales & Service

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise after-sales integration between Market Support Officers (MSOs) and the factories.
  • Ensure effective escalation and feedback of technical and product-related field issues.

Team & Network Leadership

  • Manage a team of approximately 10 people, including Area Sales Managers, providing commercial and relational guidance.
  • Lead with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to grow Mecalac's sales and adapt to network evolutions.


Travel Requirements

  • Frequent travel to Annecy and to Mecalac's other production facilities.


About you

Candidate Profile

  • Passion to evangelize innovation and the drive to build a strong presence of a challenger brand.
  • Proven experience in construction equipment sales and service management.
  • Strong understanding of dealer network dynamics and technical product support.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
  • Comfortable with CRM/ERP tools and data-driven decision-making.
